The honest answer: no agency can prove a real, individual approval rate, because ICA does not publish per-applicant or per-agency outcomes. Any "98% success rate" you see is a marketing claim, not a verifiable statistic. Here's what the real data actually shows.

What ICA actually publishes

ICA and the government publish aggregate intake figures, not approval rates. Budget 2026 signalled the annual new-PR intake rising toward ~40,000 per year (from around 35,000). What they do not publish is how many people applied to get those grants, so a true national "approval rate" isn't public.

Why agency "success rates" are misleading

• Agencies can choose which cases to take, then quote the success rate of a filtered pool.
• "Success" is often undefined — does it include appeals? Re-applications?
• There's no independent audit, so the number can't be verified.

A genuinely honest agency will tell you it cannot promise a number — because your outcome depends on your profile, not their marketing.

What actually moves your odds

Your economic contribution, length of stay, family ties, age, qualifications and how consistent your records are. These are the factors ICA weighs — and the only things worth focusing on.
